I’m Calvin Kandiah, a penultimate year civil engineering student with a strong passion for efficient and sustainable engineering that can improve the overall quality of life for people. Providing a better quality of life through upgraded and renewed infrastructure allows me to make individuals' needs and desires into reality.

My academic journey has equipped me with a strong understanding of project planning and materials, which helped me to be involved in the planning phase of the Liverpool city council Road to Recovery project, which involved obtaining traffic data. Working on these projects allows me to practice social responsibility by knowing that improving roads for the citizens of a government area will allow them to be safer on the roads. I continue to find ways to strengthen my understanding of civil engineering and continue to work hard to improve my surroundings.
